RFP Maxwell Canyon Utility and Access Improvements

General Notice:

Hildale City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Maxwell Canyon Utility and Access Improvements.

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Hildale City offices located at 320 East Newel Avenue, Hildale, Utah 84784, until Friday, June 27^th, 2025 at 10:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bid results will be posted on the State Purchasing website, Bonfire, at https://utah.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/189993.

The Project includes the following Work: Installation of water, sewer, irrigation, electrical and gas utilities along Canyon St and Maxwell Canyon Parkway up to Maxwell Canyon Park. Project also includes construction of a cast-in-place concrete box culvert and bank armoring.  The Bids will be received for single contract.

Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $2,750,000. The Project has an expected duration of 270 days. The Project has Milestone as indicated in the Bidding Documents.

Obtaining Bidding Documents:

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the Bonfire website. For first time users, follow the “Register” button at the top right-hand corner of the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) portal provided by Utah State Purchasing at https://utah.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/189993. Any responses received through the U3P Jaggaer courtesy posting will not be considered responsive, nor will they be evaluated. Questions regarding the use of Bonfire or needed assistance can be directed to the online knowledge base, the FAQs page, or the Bonfire Support Team at support@gobonfire.com.

The designated website will be updated with addenda, plan holders list, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated website.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc., 1664 S. Dixie Dr. Suite G102, St. George, Utah 84770.

Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Questions are due in writing to the Bonfire Website at https://utah.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/18999 on or before Friday, June 20^th, 2025.

Pre-bid Conference:

A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Monday, June 16^th, 2025 at 10:00 AM local time at Hildale City Hall at 320 Newel Avenue Hildale, Utah 84784. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.

Instructions to Bidders:

For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner may reject any or all bids submitted.
